WHAT ARE WE WORKING ON?

GOAL AREA #1:  A future world where there is No Stigma associated with mental illness;  a future where  college-age young individuals confronted with first-onset of some mental illness  are not afraid to seek help.

Behavioral health services should be accessible.  However, capacity is a significant problem.  The Evan M Nakashige foundation will encourage accredited schools of medicine to expand the size of their training programs in Psychiatry, and to create additional training opportunities for primary care physicians to be equipped and ready to function as front-line behavioral health providers for their patients.
